Porsche Detailing Based on Real Experience

Porsche vehicles make up a significant part of the performance and enthusiast cars we work on.

That experience ranges from correcting heavily marked and previously repaired paintwork to protecting delivery-mileage cars before regular road use begins.

We have completed everything from multi-stage paint correction on older 911s through to bespoke Track Pack PPF installations, complete Stealth conversions and full-car protection on rare modern Porsche models.

Recent projects include a Porsche 911 S/T receiving complete full-car PPF, a 993 Turbo having more than 20-year-old film removed and replaced, a 997 undergoing extensive paint correction and protection, and a Cayman GT4 transformed with Stealth PPF.

That variety matters because the right treatment for a new GT3 is not necessarily the right treatment for a 30-year-old 993.

We inspect the vehicle first and recommend the level of correction and protection that makes sense for the individual car.

Porsche Detailing and Paint Protection Services

Porsche Paint Protection Film

For owners primarily concerned about stone chips and physical damage, Porsche PPF provides the strongest level of paint protection we offer.

Paint Protection Film is a clear, self-healing layer installed over vulnerable painted surfaces. It protects against stone impacts, light scratches, minor scuffs and the everyday damage associated with road and motorway use.

Porsches are particularly well suited to targeted PPF because low front ends, wide bodywork, rear arches and lower side sections can all be exposed to road debris depending on the model and how it is driven.

Ultra-Clear Self-Healing PPF

We use premium ultra-clear, self-healing Paint Protection Film designed to protect the paintwork without significantly changing its appearance.

Our preferred film carries a manufacturer warranty of up to 12 years and features a self-healing top layer that can recover from many fine surface marks when warmed by sunlight or gentle heat.

The film is also designed to maintain strong optical clarity and gloss, making it particularly well suited to Porsche paintwork, carbon fibre and other high-visibility exterior surfaces where the installation needs to remain as discreet as possible.

Coverage can range from individual panels through to:

  • Full Front PPF - bonnet, bumper, front wings, headlights, mirrors and other forward-facing areas where appropriate.
  • Track Pack PPF - extending protection into side skirts, rear arches and other high-impact areas.
  • Full-Car PPF - covering every painted exterior panel.

Every plotted installation is cut in-house using our Graphtec FC9000 and market-leading pattern databases.

Patterns are adjusted and extended where appropriate, with edges wrapped wherever the vehicle design allows.

Badges, trim and other components may also be removed and refitted where appropriate to help hide film edges and produce a more discreet finished installation.

Our Porsche portfolio includes both Full Front and full-car 911 installations, including a 911 S/T where every painted panel was protected with PPF and edges were hidden wherever possible.

Porsche Ceramic Coating

A professional Porsche ceramic coating is ideal for owners who want improved gloss, easier maintenance and long-term chemical protection.

Before the coating is applied, the paintwork is thoroughly cleaned, decontaminated and inspected. Machine polishing is then carried out where required so that defects are not simply sealed beneath the coating.

Ceramic protection can be applied to more than paintwork. Wheels, brake calipers, exterior glass, carbon fibre and Paint Protection Film can also be protected using products designed for the individual surface.

We offer ceramic coating options with durability ranging from approximately 2 to 7 years - depending on the chosen product and how the vehicle is maintained.

Ceramic coating will not prevent stone chips. For physical impact protection, PPF is the appropriate solution.

The two can also be combined, as we did on a new Cayman GTS 4.0 where Track Pack PPF was combined with paint correction and ceramic coating to wheels and bodywork.

PPF or Ceramic Coating for a Porsche?

Paint Protection Film and ceramic coating protect your Porsche in different ways.

A ceramic coating primarily provides chemical protection, improves gloss and water behaviour, and makes the vehicle easier to maintain. It is a strong option if your main priority is keeping the paintwork cleaner and protecting it against everyday environmental contamination.

Paint Protection Film provides physical protection that a ceramic coating cannot. The self-healing film helps protect the paintwork against stone chips, light scratches, minor scuffs and road debris.

For many Porsche owners, the most effective solution is to combine the two.

Full Front or Track Pack PPF can protect the areas most exposed to stone impacts, while ceramic coating is applied to the remaining paintwork and over the PPF to improve water behaviour and ease of maintenance.

If stone chips and physical damage are your main concern, prioritise PPF.

If easier cleaning, gloss and chemical protection are the priority, ceramic coating may be sufficient.

If you want both forms of protection, PPF and ceramic coating work extremely well together.

Porsche Paint Correction

Even carefully owned Porsches can accumulate swirl marks, fine scratches, water spotting and other defects over time.

Our Porsche paint correction services use machine polishing to improve paint clarity, colour depth and gloss while preserving as much original clear coat as possible.

The level of correction depends entirely on the condition of the vehicle.

A relatively well-maintained Porsche may only require a light enhancement or single-stage correction, while older vehicles, previous bodyshop work and deeper defects can require significantly more involved polishing.

We have completed extensive correction work on several generations of 911, including a 997 that received multi-stage correction alongside replacement PPF, ceramic protection and brake caliper refinishing.

For considerably heavier defects, wet sanding and advanced paint correction can also be considered following inspection.

New Porsche Protection

Protecting a Porsche early can prevent many of the defects that later require correction or repainting.

A Porsche New Car Protection package can be tailored from ceramic coating alone through to Full Front or complete full-car PPF.

A popular combination is Full Front PPF protecting the highest-impact areas, with ceramic coating applied to the remaining paintwork, wheels and glass.

Importantly, we do not assume that every brand-new Porsche needs extensive machine polishing.

The paintwork is inspected after cleaning and decontamination. If it only needs light refinement, that is what we recommend. If transportation, dealership preparation or previous polishing has introduced more significant defects, these can be addressed before protection is applied.

Porsche Detailing, Ceramic Coating and PPF Costs

The cost of protecting or detailing a Porsche depends on the model, condition of the paintwork and the level of protection required.

A daily-driven Macan needing ceramic protection will require a very different amount of work from a 911 GT3 receiving full-car Paint Protection Film, so we price each vehicle according to the actual work involved rather than simply its value.

Porsche Service Typical Starting Price
One Day Detail From £499
New Car Protection Detail From £650
Paint Correction + Ceramic Coating From £750
Full Front PPF Front bumper, bonnet, front wings, headlights, mirrors and A-pillars From £1,500
Track Pack PPF Full Front coverage plus side skirts, rear arches and rear bumper corners From £2,000
Full-Car PPF Protection for every painted exterior panel From £3,800
All prices include VAT. Final pricing depends on the Porsche model, condition and protection selected.

Getting an Accurate Porsche Detailing Quote

If you send us the model, mileage and the year of the vehicle, along with the type of protection you are considering, for example, ceramic coating or Paint Protection Film - we can provide a clear quotation before you book.

For PPF, it is also useful to know how your Porsche will be used. A weekend road car, daily-driven Macan and GT3 RS used for European trips or track days can all benefit from different levels of coverage.

Porsche Brake Caliper Painting and Refinishing

Brake calipers can also be refinished while your Porsche is with us.

This can range from restoring faded original calipers to completely changing the colour and adding new Porsche-style decals.

Our professional spray process uses suitable automotive coatings and a durable heat-resistant 2K lacquer, with decals protected beneath the finished lacquer rather than simply applied over the surface.

This can be combined with paint correction, PPF, ceramic coating or wheel refurbishment during the same booking.

Porsche GT3, GT3 RS and GT Models

GT models are often used very differently from a conventional road car.

For a GT3, GT3 RS, GT4 or Spyder that regularly sees fast road use, European trips or track days, protection around the front end, side skirts and rear-quarter impact areas can be particularly worthwhile.

Even for a collectors car that does limited mileage, protecting the original paint is vital to ensure long-term value and originality.

We have carried out complete PPF coverage on various Porsche GT models, including a GT3 RS where decals were removed and replaced to allow the film to be installed more discreetly.

PPF can also be applied to carbon-fibre components and other vulnerable exterior surfaces where appropriate.

Porsche Cayman, Boxster and 718

Cayman, Boxster and 718 models can benefit from exactly the same tailored approach.

For road cars, Full Front PPF or ceramic coating may provide all the protection required. For GT4, Spyder and cars regularly driven enthusiastically, extending coverage along the side skirts and rear impact areas can make considerably more sense.

We have completed numerous Paint Correction and Ceramic Coatings to various Porsche Models. Including this Porsche Boxster 718, which suffered a poor respray and needed major correction.

We have also completed a full Stealth PPF conversion on a Cayman GT4, changing the appearance from gloss to satin while maintaining physical paint protection.

Porsche Macan and Cayenne

Porsche paint protection is just as relevant to a daily-driven Macan or Cayenne as it is to a GT car.

These vehicles often cover considerably more mileage, meaning motorway contamination, stone chips, wash marks and general wear can accumulate quickly.

A ceramic coating can make a Macan or Cayenne considerably easier to maintain, while Full Front PPF provides physical protection for the panels receiving the greatest amount of road debris.

For older vehicles where the paintwork has already accumulated swirl marks and fine scratches, paint correction can restore clarity before longer-term protection is applied.

The same services are available for the latest Macan Electric.

Porsche Taycan

The Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo can be protected using ceramic coating, targeted PPF, Full Front PPF or complete full-car coverage.

For a newly delivered Taycan, we would normally inspect the paintwork first before deciding how much polishing is actually necessary.

Owners covering higher motorway mileage may find Full Front PPF particularly worthwhile, while ceramic coating across the remaining paintwork can make routine maintenance easier.

Every Porsche is worked on at our dedicated studio near Reading and Wokingham in Berkshire.

Our PPF installations are completed entirely in-house. We use our own Graphtec FC9000 plotter and market leading pattern databases, allowing us to modify coverage and extend patterns where appropriate.

With more than 20 years of hands-on detailing experience, we are equally comfortable working with a brand-new Porsche requiring protection and an older classic air-cooled 911, requiring careful paint restoration.

We are fully insured for customer vehicles while they are in our care and have built a substantial portfolio of Porsche detailing and PPF projects alongside more than 150 5-Star Google Reviews.

For PPF installations, our focus extends beyond simply applying the film. Preparation, hidden and wrapped edges, aftercare and appropriate advice all form part of the service.

Most importantly, we will recommend the level of work the car actually needs.

Not every Porsche requires multi-stage paint correction, and not every owner needs full-car PPF. The right package depends on the vehicle, its condition and how you intend to use it.
