Paint Protection Film (PPF) for cars is the most effective way to protect your paintwork against stone chips, scratches, and more!
Paint Protection Film (PPF) and ceramic coating are both popular ways to protect your car’s paintwork. They serve different purposes, and choosing the right one depends on how you use your vehicle and what level of protection you're looking for.
PPF is a physical, self-healing film that acts as a barrier between your car’s paint and the environment. It protects against stone chips, scratches, swirl marks and scuffs, making it ideal for track cars, daily drivers and vehicles exposed to harsh conditions.
Ceramic coating, is a liquid-based coating that bonds chemically with your car’s surface. It adds hydrophobic (water-repellent) and UV-resistant properties, making your car easier to clean while enhancing gloss, but it doesn’t provide the same level of physical impact protection as PPF.
In many cases, the best solution is to combine both. PPF for high-impact areas, and ceramic coating over the top for added gloss and ease of maintenance.

Still have questions? Below are answers to some of the most common queries we get about PPF, installation, film types, and long-term care.
Get A Free QuoteProFilm offers several advantages. It’s optically clear, has great stretch for tight curves, and includes a self-healing topcoat that repairs light swirls with warmth. It also resists yellowing and has long-term durability, making it one of the most trusted brands in the industry.
While PPF adds a strong layer of protection, no film is completely damage-proof. It’s very effective at absorbing minor impacts, deflecting road debris, and resisting swirl marks. However, very large stones or harsh contact can still cause damage, though the paint underneath will usually stay intact.
We recommend hand washing your car with a pH-neutral shampoo and soft wash mitt. Avoid high-pressure jet washing on exposed edges, and always dry thoroughly. We also offer maintenance washes and inspections to help you keep everything in top shape.
Absolutely. In fact, many clients choose to top the film with a ceramic coating for even better water behaviour and ease of cleaning. It won’t affect the PPF’s self-healing properties and will make maintenance even simpler.
Yes, we do. If you want to protect just your sills, luggage strip, headlights or specific panels, we can design a custom package that suits your budget and needs. Just let us know what areas concern you most and we’ll build a solution around that.
We offer a warranty transfer service for £149, which includes a full inspection and maintenance wash. We’ll also provide the new owner with care guidance to help them maintain the protection. Without the transfer, the warranty remains linked to the original owner.
