Paint Protection Film (PPF) for cars is the most effective way to protect your paintwork against stone chips, scratches, and more!
Paint Protection Film (PPF) and ceramic coating are both popular ways to protect your car’s paintwork. They serve different purposes, and choosing the right one depends on how you use your vehicle and what level of protection you're looking for.
PPF is a physical, self-healing film that acts as a barrier between your car’s paint and the environment. It protects against stone chips, scratches, swirl marks and scuffs, making it ideal for track cars, daily drivers and vehicles exposed to harsh conditions.
Ceramic coating, is a liquid-based coating that bonds chemically with your car’s surface. It adds hydrophobic (water-repellent) and UV-resistant properties, making your car easier to clean while enhancing gloss, but it doesn’t provide the same level of physical impact protection as PPF.
In many cases, the best solution is to combine both. PPF for high-impact areas, and ceramic coating over the top for added gloss and ease of maintenance.
You can read a full breakdown of the pros and cons in our blog post: PPF or Ceramic Coating – Which is Better
