Our New Car Protection service is designed for vehicles that are newly delivered or shortly due for collection. We safely clean, decontaminate and inspect the paintwork before carrying out only the level of machine polishing genuinely required.
Protection can then be tailored around how you intend to use the car, from professional ceramic coating through to targeted, Full Front or complete Paint Protection Film.

Does a Brand-New Car Need Detailing?
A new car does not necessarily need extensive paint correction, but it should be properly inspected and prepared before long-term protection is applied.
Over the years we have inspected and protected hundreds of new vehicles from manufacturers including BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla and Land Rover.
Even delivery-mileage vehicles can arrive with light swirl marks, water spotting, transportation residue, bonded contamination or polishing marks from dealership preparation.
We do not automatically carry out heavy paint correction simply because the vehicle is new. The paintwork is assessed first, and we only polish as much as genuinely necessary.
The BMW below is a good example of the type of defects that can be present even on a brand-new vehicle.

New Car Protection Detail
Our standard New Car Protection Detail gives a newly delivered vehicle the preparation and protection it should receive before regular use begins.
The car is safely washed, chemically and mechanically decontaminated, then inspected under specialist lighting.
The paintwork is then given a single-stage machine polish to improve gloss, clarity and colour depth while removing light swirl marks and defects caused during transportation, storage or dealership preparation.
A professional 3-4 year ceramic coating is then applied to the prepared paintwork, with an interior reset included as standard.
Time Required
Most vehicles require between 1 and 3 days, depending on the condition of the paintwork, vehicle size and any additional protection selected.
Pricing
Prices start from £650 including VAT for a standard-sized vehicle, such as an Audi A4. This includes paint preparation, single-stage machine polishing and a professional 3-4 year ceramic coating.
Optional Protection Upgrades
Additional protection can be added depending on how the vehicle will be used, including:
- Hydrophobic coating for all exterior glass
- Ceramic coating for wheel faces and barrels
- Interior fabric and leather protection
- Paint Protection Film to Common wear areas such as door handles, B Pillars and Bumper Load Lips
For physical protection against stone chips, swirl marks, light scratches and other physical damage, the package can also be combined with targeted, Full Front, Track Pack or full-car Paint Protection Film.
Where practical, we can arrange for a new vehicle to be delivered directly from the dealership while still wearing its factory transport protection. This can reduce unnecessary dealership washing or preparation before the car reaches our studio.
Ceramic Coating for New Cars
Once the paintwork has been properly prepared, ceramic coating provides durable chemical protection while improving gloss, water behaviour and ease of maintenance.
Road grime and environmental contamination are less able to bond to the surface, making routine washing considerably easier.
Ceramic coating does not prevent stone chips or significant scratches. If physical impact protection is the priority, Paint Protection Film is the better option.
Paint Protection Film for New Cars
For owners concerned about stone chips, scratches and physical road damage, Paint Protection Film provides a level of protection that ceramic coating cannot.
Coverage can range from the front bumper or other individual high-impact areas through to Full Front, Track Pack and complete full-car PPF.
All PPF is installed in-house at our Berkshire studio using our Graphtec FC9000 plotter, professional pattern databases and premium self-healing film. Patterns can be extended and edges wrapped where appropriate.
Many customers choose to combine Paint Protection Film with ceramic coating for the best balance of impact protection and easy maintenance.
