Ceramic coating is the easiest way to keep your car cleaner for longer while protecting the paint from UV rays, dirt and light scratches.
Ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) are both used to protect your car’s paint, but they work in different ways. Ceramic coating adds a hydrophobic layer that makes cleaning easier and keeps the paint looking glossy for 3-5 years.
PPF is a layer of clear film, that is applied to body panels to protect the paint from stone chips and deep scratches. We use ProFilm PPF, which is self healing and protects your car up to 12 Years.
If you want protection from everyday use and easier maintenance, ceramic coating is ideal. If you want to protect your car against chips and heavy road use, PPF is the better choice although many people choose to combine the two for full coverage.
You can read a full breakdown of the pros and cons in our blog post: PPF or Ceramic Coating – Which is Better
Or see both in action on this Lotus Evora project where we installed PPF and applied ceramic coating together: Lotus Evora – PPF + Ceramic Coating

Still have questions? Here are answers to some of the most common question we get about Ceramic Coating, How it Works and How much it can cost to Ceramic Coat Your Car.
Get A Free QuoteCeramic coating is a liquid product that bonds to your car’s paintwork and hardens into a protective layer. It shields the surface from UV rays, dirt, road grime and light scratches while adding a smooth, glossy finish. It doesn’t stop stone chips, but it keeps the car cleaner for longer and makes washing easier.
Yes, especially if you want your car to look good without constant polishing. Ceramic coating cuts down on washing time, protects against bird droppings and road salt, and helps prevent paint from fading. It’s not just for show cars; most of the cars we coat are daily drivers.
When applied properly and cared for with safe washing methods, our ceramic coatings last up to four years. You won’t need to keep topping it up like wax or sealant. We can also recommend simple aftercare to help you get the full life out of the coating.
Ceramic coating doesn’t remove scratches, that’s where our paint correction and detailing come in first. We polish out as many marks as possible before applying the coating, so you’re locking in a finish that looks as good as it can.
Our packages start at £400 for protection‑only coatings and go up to £1,200 for multi‑stage correction with coating. The price depends on the level of correction and protection you want. We’ll help you pick the right option for your car and budget.
Ceramic coating adds gloss and makes cleaning easier, but it doesn’t stop stone chips. Paint protection film (PPF) is a physical barrier that prevents chips and deeper scratches but costs more. Many people choose ceramic coating for everyday protection and PPF for high‑impact areas like bonnets or bumpers.
Ceramic coating for cars is one of the most effective ways to protect your paintwork from UV damage, road grime, and light scratches – all while making it easier to clean.
