This BMW M2 F87 came to us for a combined detailing and paint protection package.
Rather than applying PPF directly over the existing finish, we first carried out a thorough decontamination before completing a single-stage machine polish to improve the clarity and condition of the paintwork.
For vehicles with heavier defects, our Paint Correction service offers everything from lighter enhancement through to multi-stage correction.
Once the preparation was complete, we installed an extended Track Pack Paint Protection Film package.
Track Pack PPF is particularly relevant to cars such as the M2 that may see enthusiastic road driving, European trips or track use.
It extends physical protection beyond a conventional front-end package into lower and side areas more exposed to debris thrown from the road and tyres.
You can compare our available PPF coverage options on our Paint Protection Film service page.
The front grilles and side vents were removed where appropriate during installation.
Rather than simply accepting the supplied computer-cut patterns exactly as they came, we adjusted the coverage to improve the fit and allow film to wrap further into suitable areas.
Because our PPF is plotted in-house, we retain greater control over how an individual installation is approached.
Once the PPF installation was complete, Labocosmetica ceramic protection was applied.
PPF and ceramic coating perform different roles.
The film provides the physical barrier against stone chips, light scratches and minor scuffs, while ceramic protection improves water behaviour, contamination resistance and ease of maintenance.
For BMW owners primarily interested in gloss and easier cleaning rather than physical impact protection, a standalone Ceramic Coating service may be the more proportionate choice.
Our BMW work covers everything from daily-driven models through to M cars, Individual finishes and vehicles prepared for track and European use.
You can see the wider range on our BMW detailing and PPF page.
