The pattern follows the same size, shape and coverage as the original BMW stone guards, making it a direct like-for-like replacement.
Replace Worn BMW Factory Stone Guards
The original rear arch film fitted to the BMW M2 can become yellow, dull or damaged over time. It also has noticeable texture and heavy orange peel, which can make the protected area look different from the surrounding paintwork.
Replacing it with high-quality PPF restores a clearer and more consistent appearance while continuing to protect the vulnerable rear quarter panels from stone chips and road debris thrown from the front wheels.
Every kit is plotted in-house by On Track Detailing for consistent accuracy. The film arrives pre-cut, so no cutting is required on the vehicle.
Like-for-Like OEM Coverage
This replacement kit follows the original size and shape of the factory BMW M2 rear arch PPF.
It covers the same area of the rear quarter panel and retains the original visible edge position. This is particularly useful on cars that have accumulated stone chips around the existing film, as the replacement does not extend over previously exposed paint.
High-Gloss or Matte PPF
The high-gloss option has a smooth, clear finish with no added texture. It is self-healing from light scratches and swirl marks, has a hydrophobic top coat and is covered by a 12-year manufacturer’s warranty.
A matte version is available for BMW Frozen paint, stealth PPF and matte vinyl wraps. It retains the original satin appearance and is covered by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Both options are designed to resist yellowing, cracking and delamination.
BMW M2 F87 Compatibility
This kit is designed for the first-generation BMW M2 F87, including the original M2, M2 Competition and M2 CS.
It will not fit the newer BMW M2 G87.

What Does the Kit Include?
Each kit contains one pair of pre-cut PPF sections - One for the left rear arch, one for the right rear arch. You can refer to the BMW F82 M4 Installation Video, the process is virtually the same.
An installation kit containing the application solution and squeegee can also be added when ordering.
Installation Guidance
Watch the installation video before starting. It explains how to remove the original film, prepare the paint, remove old adhesive and position the replacement PPF.
Install the kit in a clean, sheltered area and make sure the paint is free from contamination, wax and adhesive residue. Extra care should be taken when removing factory PPF from any panel that has previously been repainted.
Professional Installation Available
Professional installation is available at the On Track Detailing studio in Finchampstead, Berkshire.
We can remove the original stone guards, prepare the rear quarter panels and install the replacement PPF for you. Please contact us before ordering if you would like to arrange professional fitting.
