Every vehicle has different requirements depending on its age, colour, previous care and current condition. This is why we offer different levels of car paint correction, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our goal is always the same: achieve the best possible finish while preserving as much original paint as possible.

All packages below include a professional 3+year ceramic coating to protect the corrected finish. Upgraded 5 and 7 Year Multi Layer Ceramic Coatings are available.

Unlike some detailing companies that separate correction and protection into two separate services, we believe the protection stage is an essential part of maintaining the results achieved through paint correction.

What Is Included in Your Paint Correction Package?

Every package begins with a full exterior deep clean, including the door shuts, trims and fuel flap, plus an engine bay clean. We chemically decontaminate the paintwork and use a clay bar where necessary to remove bonded contamination before polishing.

The paint is inspected, suitable paint-depth measurements are taken and delicate areas are protected before correction begins. We select the polishing process around the condition of the vehicle and the package agreed with you.

After correction, the surface is prepared for a three-year ceramic coating. A basic interior valet is also included, so your car leaves clean inside as well as out.

All packages also include high-definition before-and-after photos, and optional add-ons like wheel ceramic coating, interior protection or glass coatings are available.

Single Stage Paint Correction

From £750 (on a typical sized vehicle, EG Audi A4 / BMW 3 Series)

Single-stage paint correction suits vehicles with light swirl marks, wash marring and reduced gloss. One carefully selected polishing stage combines cutting and refining to improve the appearance of the paintwork.

Depending on the condition and hardness of the paint, we typically achieve around 60–70% defect removal. This is an indicative result rather than a guarantee, as deeper marks may need further correction or remain where removing them would compromise the paint.

Prices start from £750 for a typical-sized vehicle, such as an Audi A4 or BMW 3 Series. A three-year ceramic coating is applied after polishing.

Two Stage Paint Correction

Our most popular paint correction service.

Our most popular correction package uses a dedicated cutting stage followed by a separate refining stage. It suits paintwork with more noticeable swirl marks, heavier wash damage and a hazy or uneven finish.

The cutting stage reduces the defects. Refinement then improves clarity and gloss before the ceramic coating is applied.

We typically achieve around 85% defect removal, depending on the paintwork and what can safely be corrected. For many used cars, this provides a substantial improvement without pursuing every deeper mark.

Multi Stage Paint Correction

From £1,200

Time Taken ~ 4-6 days

Multi-stage correction allows more time for cutting and refinement across the vehicle. It suits heavily marked paintwork or owners seeking a more thorough finish than a single-stage or two-stage package can provide.

Each panel is assessed and the polishing process adjusted to its condition. Where the paint safely allows, we can achieve 95% or more defect removal, although some deeper defects may need to remain.

Some vehicles require a more specialised approach due to deeper defects, uneven paint texture or previous repair work.

Wet sanding is an advanced paint correction technique used to carefully level specific imperfections within the clear coat before machine polishing.

It can be used to improve defects such as:

• Excessive orange peel
• Isolated deeper scratches
• Paint texture inconsistencies
• Certain marks that cannot be corrected through polishing alone

Wet sanding requires specialist knowledge, careful measurement and experience to complete safely.

Because every vehicle has different paint thickness, history and requirements, this service is priced following a detailed inspection and consultation.

A lightly marked panel may improve significantly with one polishing stage. Paintwork with heavier scratches, sanding marks or previous polishing damage can require additional cutting and refinement.

Which Level of Paint Correction Does Your Car Need?

The right level depends on the paint’s condition, its previous treatment and the result you want.

A newer or carefully maintained car may only need a single polishing stage. A used car with heavier wash marks may benefit from a two-stage correction, while more extensive damage can require a multi-stage job.

Paint hardness also makes a difference. Two cars with similar-looking defects may respond differently to the same polishing process. We inspect the vehicle and assess its response before deciding how to proceed.

You do not necesarily need to choose the number of stages yourself. Tell us what bothers you about the finish and we will recommend an appropriate package, including where additional work would offer little benefit.

Why Do Different Levels or Stages of Paint Correction Exist?

One of the most common questions we receive is:

"Why do I need a two-stage correction instead of a single stage?"

The answer comes down to the condition of the vehicle and the level of improvement required.

Every vehicle is different. A new or well maintained used car may only require more gentle refinement process, while a heavily swirled black vehicle may require multiple polishing stages to safely achieve the desired finish.

Paint correction is not about carrying out the most aggressive process possible. It is about achieving the best result while preserving as much original paint as possible.
